About the shop
Pizzella Picture Framing & Fine Art has been on US-190 in Mandeville since 2014. Owner Michael Pizzella has been painting in oil and custom framing in southeast Louisiana since 2005 — art made and framed by the same hands.
The shop specializes in oil portraits of pets, homes, cars, and boats, alongside full-service custom framing with conservation materials. Just about anything you can think of.

The Transformation
The artist corrects perspective, improves lighting, and reveals personality the photograph flattened.
What We Do
Oil on canvas from your photograph. Dogs, cats, horses, birds — big, small, cute, ugly cute, fins, feathers, fur or fangs. 3 to 5 week turnaround.
Conservation-quality framing built in-house. Hundreds of moulding profiles, archival matting, museum glass. Walk-ins welcome — see the sample wall in person.
Landscapes, still life, and abstract work available in the gallery. Oil on canvas and wood panel. Pen and ink drawings. Each piece is one of a kind.

Send a photo. Get a painting. Every commission is hand-painted by Michael in the Mandeville shop. Most portraits are finished in 3–5 weeks. For gifts, memorials, or anything with a deadline, call the shop before you commission — dates can often be worked around with a little notice.
